Fluorescent pigment can be used for through coloring and over-dipping coloring candle application. Partially it can be used to increase dye brightness. Usage
fluorescent pigment is suitable for different types paraffin and plant wax
pale shades 0.05% – 0.1% (vanilla or ivory)
medium shades 0.1 – 0.5% (red, blue, yellow)
dark shades 0.5% – 1%
e.g. for a medium shade, 0.1 – 0.5 kg pigment can color about 1000 kg wax.
Note: some fragrances may react with pigment resulting in brownish or grayish cast. Please contact us for solution.
Temperature
The recommended temperature for manufacturing with pigment is about 180°F or 85°C. Working at higher temperatures or prolonged exposure to heat will degrade the colors, causing fading or color alteration.
Storage
Fluorescent pigment should be stored under ambient conditions with sealed containers. Each color should be separately packed from other colors.
